I listen. I watch. I think carefully about what I observe. I ask about your feelings and check my own. And I say what needs to be said. Sometimes the work feels really good. Other times it can be painful. But it's always done with kindness and compassion.
I see clients face-to-face at my home office in Draper, Utah. Welcome to my home!
I also work with clients virtually within the State of Utah.
Since 1996 I have been exploring with a broad range of clients the difficult intersections between sexual diversity; trauma; religion, faith and spirituality; and cultural and relational demands.
I have a master's degree in counseling psychology plus training in EMDR, Brainspotting, and Accelerated Experiential-Dynamic Psychotherapy. I am a Clinical Mental Health Counselor (CMHC), licensed in Utah.
Humans have an amazing ability to heal, grow, and thrive when given the right support. I discovered many years ago that I don't fear the complex, deep and painful places my clients need to take me. And I learned to trust the innate resilience of every person, no matter what they're facing or what they've been through.
Come work with me.
